Chunky Coral Necklace
After weeks of not having time to create (life, work, uni, and xmas all got in the way) I finally had some time to bead.
The result was this necklace from chunky coral pieces, ice-flake quartz and a wood feature bead. I plan to wear it with basic black, and love the solid feel of it.
Christmas cheer
Christmas was busy as always - a quick trip home to my parents for a full-on family Christmas, with 20 for lunch. Boxing day was lunch for 8 at our house - I cooked my first baked ham, and it was seriously good!
My table was all in purple.
Ready for the onslaught!
Murphy found it all a bit much!
Sweet Victorian choker
I made this for Christmas for my dear friend Vicki. She fell in love with a piece I did for Courtney for her birthday and asked for a softer, more summery version.
I tea dyed the lace, then used a pink cameo, gold chain, and some two-tone Czech glass beads in rose / green.
A close up of the detail.
The set include matching earrings and a bracelet.
